I enjoy crafting miniature clothing for my doll toys. They imbue charm and personality into the dolls. These tiny creations are adorable and quick to complete compared to human-sized garments. Plus, they're a great way to utilize leftover yarn scraps.

This overall is knit in the round from the waist down. The front and back panels are worked on afterward.

Pants
CO 52 sts, join in the round, and knit 11 rnds.
Leg Parts (Left)
Knit 26 sts, and place the rest of the stitches (26 sts) on a stitch holder.
Make 8 stitches, and join in a round.

Bind-off.
Make 8 stitches.
Leg Parts (Right)
Place the stitches from the stitch holder to the needles. Start with new yarn, and knit 26 sts.
Pick up 8 stitches from the left leg center, and join in a round.

Front Panel
Pick up 16 sts at the center front
Row 1 (WS): purl
Row 2 (RS): knit
Row 3: purl
Row 4: k1, k2tog, k10, ssk, k1 (14 sts)

Row 7: purl
Bind-off.
The Back Panel and Shoulder Strap
Pick up 8 sts at the center back
Row 1 (WS): purl
Row 2 (RS): k1, k2tog, k2, ssk, k1 (6 sts)
Row 3: purl
Row 4: k1, k2tog, ssk, k1 (4 sts)
Row 5: purl
Row 6: knit
Separate the stitches into half, 2 stitches for the left shoulder strap, and another 2 stitches for the right side.
Knit the strap
Row 1 (WS): slip, purl
Row 2 (RS): slip, knit
Repeat until the strap reaches the front panel, approx—6 cm. Then, sew it together with the front panel.
